How it works...
For the recipient - The holder of the certificate simply redeems
for the gift listed at no cost to them. All gifts are shipped
once the sponsor approves and provides the funding for the
fulfillment.
For the sponsor - The sponsor only pays for the fulfillment
of Promo Codes that get redeemed within a certain
expiration period allowing a certain amount of savings from
unfulfilled Promo Codes. A detailed report is provided with redemption
information along with billing for any fulfillment
The Benefit...
The sponsor saves time and money with this promotion by
outsourcing all of the fulfillment responsibility and only pays
for gifts that are actually redeemed. Historically, a sponsor
can save as much as 85% using a program like this.

Example

Lets say that you would like to give away a 4 cup coffee maker
as a promotional item. Traditionally, you would need to purchase
and warehouse a bulk amount of inventory and for this example
let's assume that you planned on awarding 1,000 coffee makers.
With an approximate retail value of $25.00 each, your cost for
product alone would be $25,000.00 before warehousing and
handling.
Now, lets keep in mind that a portion of gift recipients are
going to do business with you regardless of the gift awarded and
others will not use or discard the gift. This is commonly referred
to as breakage and historically can account for up to
ninety-five percent of the gifts issued.

By awarding a redemption certificate to the same 1,000
participants you have eliminated the need to pre-purchase and
warehouse a bulk inventory of product and you have reduced your
up front cost from $25,000.00 to $1,250.00.
Only after the certificate recipient redeems the promotion for
actual product are you billed the $25.00 cost for product
fulfillment. Once you factor in the breakage you potentially
could save an intensely large amount of money while achieving
the same results and, if every person redeems for the gift you
still save time and fulfillment costs.
